How do I buy the Yellow Glitter Limited Edition drop?
Yellow Glitter goes live Friday, August 21 at 10:00 AM CST, right here on the site — $20 each, limit 2 per order.
- Before Friday: browse the shop and note anything you may want to snag. Then, about 15 minutes before the drop, set up your cart so you can check out quickly — everything ships together, and orders over $200 get free shipping.
- Friday at 10:00 AM CST: the Yellow Glitter button on our homepage goes live. Add your Guards — up to 2 per order.
- Check out in one shot. A ready cart keeps the drop quick and gets everything shipping together.
Yellow Glitter is a Hobby Store Exclusive with a translucent golden-yellow shell and fine glitter, made for standard PSA slabs. It's a one-time run: once our stock sells out, it's gone.
Want to see it on your slab first? Open Yellow Glitter in the Guard Previewer and drop in a scan or photo of your card.
What is a Graded Guard, and what's the difference between Standard and Jewel?
A Graded Guard is a protective display case your graded slab snaps into. It shields the holder from dust, scratches, and drops while keeping the card and the grading label fully visible.
Standard and Jewel are the same case, in the same material, with the same protection. The only difference is the shell:
- Standard — opaque. A solid block of color that frames the slab and keeps the card the focal point.
- Jewel — translucent. Light passes through the colored shell for a stained-glass look on a shelf or in a display cabinet.
Both are $10. Pick whichever look you want — there's no protection trade-off either way.
One thing to get right: PSA and CGC slabs are different sizes, so each style comes in a PSA fit and a CGC fit. Grab the one that matches your card. Not sure how it'll look? The Guard Previewer shows your exact card in every colorway, in both PSA and CGC framing.
Can I see my card in a Guard before I buy?
Yep — that's exactly what the Guard Previewer is for. Drop in a scan or photo of your slab, then click through every colorway we carry and see how it actually looks before you commit.
- Any slab works. Upload an image, drag one straight in from another tab, or paste it with Ctrl+V.
- Buying a PSA card from us? Its product page has a “See this card in a Graded Guard” button that carries the cert number over and links you straight to PSA's official scan — drag that scan onto the preview and you're looking at your exact card.
- Your image stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us.
Sold-out colorways stay in the previewer too, so you can still see what a retired Guard would have looked like on your card — and know what to watch for next time.
What is the GradedGuard combo discount?
When you purchase a GradedGuard case alongside a graded card in the same order, you'll automatically receive a discount:
- Graded card under $300 — $5 off your order
- Graded card $300 or over — your GradedGuard case is free
This combo applies to Standard and Jewel GradedGuard cases only. It does not apply to any limited edition colorways.
How is GradedGuard pricing structured?
- Standard & Jewel cases — $10
- Hobby Store Exclusive colorways — $20
- Other limited edition colorways — pricing varies. Not all limited colorways are sourced through wholesale, so we can't guarantee a fixed price on these.
All pricing is subject to change in the event of distributor-level price adjustments.
Do Hobby Store Exclusive releases have set drop times?
Yes. Hobby Store Exclusives are released at a scheduled date and time, which we'll announce on our homepage once GradedGuard gives us the green light. Email subscribers hear about drops first — if you want early notice, the signup box on our homepage is the move. These sell out fast — we recommend building out your cart ahead of time so you can quickly add the exclusive guard, top off your order, and check out in one shot with everything shipping together.
Is there a purchase limit on limited edition colorways?
At release, yes. Limited editions carry a set per-order limit on drop day — usually 3 per colorway — announced with each release. Runs are small, and the limit is there so everyone gets a fair shot at one.
That limit doesn't stay forever. If a colorway still has stock roughly a week after release, we lift it — at that point you're free to order as many as you'd like, and if you already bought during the drop you're welcome to come back for more.
Limits can vary drop to drop depending on demand and how much allocation we receive.
Do limited edition colorways ever restock?
Never say never — but generally, no. Limited edition runs are one-time productions, so once a colorway sells out through us, we can't reorder it. Every so often one finds its way back to the shop another route (a trade-in, for example) — those returns are case-by-case, so price and quantity can differ from the original drop. Sold-out colorways live on in our Limited Edition Archive.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — orders over $200 ship free. Stocking up on graded cards and guards together is a great way to hit that threshold. Local folks: pickup is always free, and if you're within about a 15-minute drive of us in North Dallas, we can usually work out local delivery — just message us.
